The new JUFA Weinviertel in Seefeld-Kadolz is housed in a former flour mill still working in the traditional manner until the 1990’s and provides an insight into many aspects of the miller’s trade.

The rooms of the guesthouse are named in honour of various types of grain and milling terms. There is even a pillow menu to enable guests to select their preferred option, and the breakfast menu features special dishes prepared using the grain of the day.

In the grain store, guests can grind their own flour which they then use to bake their own bread. There is also a special craft workshop where they can design their own family coat of arms.

The Miller’s Fairy Tale Corner provides an opportunity for guests both old and young to discover the fascinating and imaginative world of miller related stories.

There is also a flour library containing works on milling as well as books dealing with the history and agriculture of the local wine growing region.
