Hiking
Numerous hike trails spread throughout the 'Seetaler Alps' past crystal clear mountain lakes to the 2,396 m high peak 'Zirbitzkogel'. The 'Zirbitzkogel' is a paradise for cross-country skiers in winter.

Cycling
'All roads lead to Judenburg', at least all bike and mountain bike roads. Take Judenburg as a starting point for many tours on bike. Our hostel is also located along the Mur river bike trail. The 365 km long 'Tour de Mur' starts in the province of Salzburg and leads you along the river Mur to the Austrian/Slovenian border. Miniature golf and a beach volleyball court, as well as a big playground for children next to our guesthouse.

Swimming

'Lachtal' Ski Area
Enjoy skiing, snowboarding and a lot more in this ski region about 35 min by car from Judenburg.

Nature Park Hohentauern

In-line Skating
Skate along the wonderful nature paths in Park Fisching, a recreation area ideal for picnics and relaxing day excursions. Find romantic skating paths through forests and along the Mur river.

Climbing, Tennis, Badminton
Judenburg is home to the most modern climbing hall in Austria. A 17 m high climbing wall with 70 climbing routes with several levels of difficulty (3-10). Classes for beginners and children. 3 tennis halls and 3 outdoor tennis courts.
