Art, culture & fun were the essence of this party.

Culture Lounge II – art & culture are big in our Youth & Family Guesthouse in Salzburg. Again international and local guests met to laugh and dance together and to celebrate art & culture. Music by the jazz band Berauer / Bros., the theater performance by the Caravan trio and fireeaters entertained our guests. DJ Schini’s groovy sounds kept people dance until 3:00 in the morning. In addition, the exhibition ‘Raumfänger’ of Lukas Hundt was opened. The highlight of the evening was the performance by Abada Capoeira. Capoeira, a Brazilian form of martial arts, requires perfect coordination of body movements.

All guests, be it international or local, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the interesting program.

Capoeira is a mixture of martial arts and dance.

We think that art & culture are essential aspects of all our lives and we thus are dedicated to promote these aspects. ‚Culture Lounge’ is a project initiated by the Youth & Family Guesthouses to support art. Young artists stay for only € 7 per night (including breakfast) in our guesthouses in Salzburg, Graz, Bregenz or Bruck an der Mur. However, to be eligible for this great price artists have to perform or exhibit in the region or/and the guesthouse. Additionally, we organize exhibitions and other events to help young artists to get known.
